Hi Fishes,
Does Deloitte USI have any cool down period, if you apply and do not get any response from the company? I had previously applied in a role, but didn't hear back from them. So, I'm planning to try to apply via referral this time and I'm wondering if I should use the same e-mail ID or a different one! Deloitte USI
Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

Have a formal offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role where I feel there’s not much room to grow anymore. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role which has been amazing, but it seems like Citi would require me to be there 2-3 days in the office per week - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. Thoughts on how to approach this?

I intrigued for SM years ago. All I can say is they certainly love up to to their low cost image. The comp was pretty good but the working conditions were trash laptops sucked etc. This was for the analytics team. My feedback was that if I went there my team has to be moved to a new building which was a no go.
What was the interview experience like?
Weirdly I didn't have to interview really. I had done fairly well in a kaggle competition Walmart hosted and that was basically my interview.
I did a Skype session with a senior director(?) prior to flying out.
This was ~5 years ago so to the best of my recollection it went like this... On-site the senior director told me I had the job if I wanted it in the first interview. I then did a case interview with a director and a psychologist/sociologist(?) watching to see if I was a good fit. It was a bit odd. I took one of my potential direct reports out to lunch to get a feel for the team. I then met with the recruiter and talked money and perks. Finally, I went on a drive with a real estate agent to scope out different neighborhoods.
All in all it was a really good experience. However the working conditions were not great and I'm a work-aholic for better or worse. I couldn't imagine spending 60hrs a week in the offices where my potential group sat.
Curious OP, where do you live now that you’d even consider moving to bentonville?
