I did. Overall the benefits are fine and likely on par with other large companies, although maybe not as good as consulting. The pay is very much dependent on which group you join and at what level. The lifestyle was probably the biggest improvement. I work 40 hours per week now and have almost no stress, while still enjoying my work.
What roles are you considering?
Good: shorter hours, no travel (although right now….)
Not as good: terrible healthcare (specially compared with MBB), bad 401K match, raises are a joke even promotion ones
I did! Pros-if you get in with the right group/manager, it’s great. Lots of attrition lately. WLB, challenging problems that you get to own. Can be a con bc it’s a huge place. Negotiate well so that the lower raises doesn’t make it a regret for you to complain about it later.
