Has anyone (or anyone you know personally) quit their job because your agency required return to office and you/they just can’t do that again? I keep waiting for the quitting wave to start (as predicted by every publication on the internet). I only know of one person. But I can’t deal with the idea of being chained to a desk at a not-my-place anymore.

Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.

I started a new job recently and then had my PTSD seriously triggered, plus a panic attack. Felt so on edge and low on emotional resources for over a week that I wasn’t myself and apparently really rubbed a few people the wrong way so I was called in for a talking to 😣. I let people know there were some personal things going on, but didn’t mention the PTSD—very unsure if that’s something to share, or if I’d be judged for it or... I don’t even know. Has anyone else dealt with PTSD and had it impact them at work, and how did you handle it?

Has anyone else noticed they’re stressed without “feeling” stressed? I don’t feel as stressed as when I was in college.
