Did 4 rounds of interviews. Last 2 with 2 partners at EY. Haven’t heard back even after 1 month. One partner even commented “you will be a good addition to the team”. Hiring manager gave EY email after her interview call with me.
Fast forward two weeks, no communication. Recruiting was surprised that I was still chasing for this position, month later. Got to know last week that hiring team was continuing to interview candidates. Should I drop the idea to get hired? EY hasn’t rejected me yet.

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

C&B is modern

Recommend going in-person to check things out. I like CB2 and RH.
West Elm is very poor value for money unless you buy outlet deals only.

EA is QUALITY. Other brands you mention don’t come close. CB2 and West Elm are fast fashion— equivalent to Zara/H&M.
P1 - I generally agree, but some things at EA look modern or mid century and not outdated. I almost bought this couch a few years back - https://www.ethanallen.com/en_US/shop-furniture-living-room-sofas-leather/marcus-leather-track-arm-sofa/marcuslthsofa.html#start=1

What about them Rooms to Go and R&F? I’m from humble beginnings, folks. Lol
Last month I sold my West Elm chair/ottoman to Kaiyo and bought a La-z-boy recliner. Much better quality and comfort. Totally worth it

West elm is expensive but great. Try find their outlet store, you get some good deals.
Furniture has no resale value so if you live near a high income area like NYC, you'll routinely find folks selling of their high end furniture for next to nothing when they move (which is quite frequent). You're welcome
