I have started a side hustle with two friends. It's Climate Tech related. We have been working with it for the past year as a part-time hustle. We want to take it to the next stage.

My two other friends have a background in consultancy and one of them had a mentor who is really high up at a Big4. He would like to join the start up as a Partner. He seems really experienced and could help raising money, although he does not seem to care about climate change.

What would be a good offer?

Does it seem unrealistic for my counter offer to be 12k more than the original offer? Considering that the original offer is roughly 8k less than the market salary.
