Any tips for BCG first round interview?
Quick qstn - I'm receiving HRA of 24075 from my employer but I would like dhow the rent paid as 96k p.a (while filing ITR). Even if I do so, I was only able to get exemption of 24075 from gross. Checking if we can speak to payroll department to increase Actual HRA since I'm actually paying more rent than compared. Will I be able to do so ?Deloitte Newco EY Accenture Genpact KPMG

I recommended a former coworker for a role where I used to work in the preop department at a community hospital. Fabulous nurse-she came in wearing scrubs and that was a turn off for the director and manager. They literally told me that she seems like a really good nurse but they didn’t like that she wore scrubs to the interview so they wouldn’t be hiring her. I was absolutely floored.
That doesn't make any sense. You just lost a good employee! At least she didn't come in with her PJ'S on!
You don't need a suit! Just a nice put together business casual outfit. You can find something like this at Ross or Burlington. It doesn't have to break the bank.
Scrubs are not appropriate for a profesional interview. Taking time to dress professionally gives a good impression to the manager/director. Just a nice pair of dress pants or a skirt and a blouse and nice pair of shoes. Scrubs scream I don't have time for you.
Don’t wear scrubs just a nice business casual outfit. No suit needed.
Explain that you are coming from/going to work.
HR said Dress for the job. I have worn scrubs. I bought a new set .
Use the line im dressing for the job I want
An interview is a professional event- you want to wear business clothing- Amazon has some nice inexpensive suits
For a nursing job, it is appropriate and tell the hiring manager that you are prepared to work right now. I've had a lot of different nursing jobs and i always go to my job interviews in royal blue scrubs + white sneakers and socks. My long hair is up in a bun. I've got my nursing bag which also has my purse with id's, resume' and references etc. my stethscope with my initials engraved, and my bag is a well stocked medical kit. I come prepared to work and have been hired on the spot many times but in my 60's they cut RN's out for LPN's and LVN's and MED techs who are not qualified to administer medications but since the FED$ took it over just as it did our public education system in 1979, the quality of education & healthcare is tanking along with our economy ~ we're a bankrupt nation but monetarily and morally.
When i was hired they told me business casual. So I wore dress slacks, a button down shirt, and dress shoes. If are a man maybe throw in a tie.
Yes but nice and neat. Professional. But maybe im to old to get job n to much experience
No, not ever. Even though you are in healthcare, professionalism still matters a GREAT Deal.
I ask ahead of time if scrubs would be appropriate since there might be a time crunch from leaving the current job. It depends on the position. I have gotten offers from those interviews. What really matters is what you are bringing to the table. A stuffed suit with an empty brain helps no one.
