I will be doing this for BEC unless I fail FAR or AUD. Are you taking the exam right after busy season?
I’ve been through 5 or so winter busy seasons, so I have a good idea of what’s possible. I plan on attempting 1 module per day, knowing that some days it won’t be possible. I’ll also have random days just to review and go over my notes so I don’t forget stuff.
I’ll likely block a 2 hour dinner every night and study during that. Again, some days it won’t be possible. My main goal is to chip away at the content so I’m not starting from scratch right after busy season.
Once 55 hour requirement drops I’ll do final review for 2 weeks then go test.
I'm legitimately so nervous about this. PwC's ideas are really great, so I'll probably have to put some of those into practice. I think the key is setting a schedule for studying and just sticking to it. I have a young family, so I've already pre-warned my wife that I need to be pretty much hands-off until the test. So, if you have a partner/family, I would make sure to discuss those time needs up front.
