Has anyone switched to a boutique consulting firm from a large firm? How has your experience been so far? It’s a consulting firm that provides services to middle market PE firms.

Comp is decent and lots of room to grow, but the overall practice size is too small (less than 50 people) which makes me worried that they may not have stable project pipeline. If anyone has made a switch before, I’d love some perspective.

The station I work at is down at least 15 positions. Some jobs have been open for two years.

Just heard FY23 partners at PwC are getting only 40 shares vs.60 last year. Looks like new partners are being shown the middle finger by Tim Ryan in favor of increasing stock price and getting more catalyst hires. Sucks!!
