Never take a counter offer.
Never take the counter. It’s like agreeing to having a target in your back as a flight risk.
Absolutely agree. If you tell your employer you have accepted another job plan on that being a done deal. Even if they offer you more money to stay say no and move on. Nothing good will ever come
From accepting an employer’s counter offer. You will be black listed for all time and the first eliminated at any sign of a downturn. By looking for work elsewhere you have already told your employer you have no allegiance to the firm. You will never be able to gain that trust back no matter how much value you think you bring to the firm.
