Oh my god. I am finally done with the CPA. It took me 5 years and I failed so many times, lost credit, spent thousands of dollars on different study materials, coffees, pens, etc. I can’t believe this day has finally come for me. How much should I expect in terms of fixed pay for JL2 position with 2 years of experience?

Is Operations paid the least at your respective firms? I was hired to a Client Service Delivery role with a heavy focus on project management. I regularly interface with leadership internally and at the client. But, I am aligned to the “Operations” capability and make the least of my teammates who perform seemingly identical work but are aligned to “Strategy and Consulting.” I worry I’m on a career path to being paid the least wherever I go, because Operations is in my title and background.

Any advice for moving from being a lawyer to secondary advisory or private fund groups that combine this with placement/fundraising?

I don’t think people understand what the difference between conservative and liberal judicial philosophies are.
