Oops my b
Pretty sure if you have a pulse EY FSO will hire. At least in tax.
Lol
My advice is to not work in asset management tax.
I work as a data scientist in EY - I am not sure about your filed. However, I know that the interviewers will not ask anything beyond what's there in your resume.
Pro tip -
1. please go to Glassdoor.com to get interview questions (We can filter questions by company, by role and location).
2. please send an email to recruiter regarding the type of interview and topics to prepare.
3. If you know your interviewers (the recruiter will tell you), please go to LinkedIn and check their background - it might give an idea what they may ask
Normally EY interviews are competency based and so think of a few examples you can bring out to showcase your skills and experience.
Be likeable. We are all looking for seniors to work. But we would also like someone with whom we can hang around.
I’m not at EY but can say being at another big 4 …we are all so hard up for seniors, so as long as you don’t bomb it, you should be a pretty easy shoo in. Typically these interviews are behavioral and not technical…. But I’d be ready to talk to any technical items you list on your resume bc that is always fair have.
They’ll ask about your experiences and what kind of clients you’ve worked on, but I’d be really surprised if they asked you anything technical. Mostly just questions to see if you’d be a good fit and are easy to get along with, are professional, etc
Behavioral questions only.. as long as you show up on time, smile, and don’t say anything super stupid / offensive / curse, you will get an offer
Everyone is correct. Once you have the interview it’s really a yours to lose scenario. Don’t stress, be personable, realize the people you are talking to are no different than you or your friends or anyone else you know. They watch the same tv shows. Listen to the same music. Make the same jokes with their friends.
