I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. For those that have been laid off, how’s the job search going? Have you gotten offers fairly quickly (I.e. 2-4 weeks after getting the notice)?

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)
