Any career coach recommendations? I’m in NY.

Currently interviewing for a role at Amazon that is listed as a CW position, but I have direct experience in the product and capabilities this role is seeking, and the hiring manager is moving me forward. What is the likelihood that if I tried to negotiate from a CW to FTE, I would get the position?

Thinking of quitting my FT job to go freelance, to provide more flexibility on where I live. I’ve gotten offers, but I’m always nervous to quit FT for a short term gig. What’s the best way to drum up work after that first one? And as a freelancer do you feel like you still get pieces for your book?

Hey FishBowl Friends, so I’m currently trying to break into tech sales/FinTech and I feel that due to my previous work history, I might not look like the ideal candidate on paper but I’m an extremely fast learner and very coachable. I really want something that’s remote and steady, any recommendations on how to spruce myself up?

8+ yoe,Project mgmt Domain - I have been working on different roles in PM domain ( Pm, PMO, Business mgmt etc) and recently switched to Scrum master. Been welding for my company for 13+ yrs and I think it’s time for a change. The culture has completely changed and became toxic. My dream is to go independent do mobile/rig welding and repair then potentially have my own shop/store front. I have all the equipment and truck setup to start but don’t know where or how. I am certified to pipeline (API 1104) code in dual processes (GMAW, SMAW) as well as an AWS CWI and a CPWI. Any advice/input is greatly appreciated!!

Just got a freelance gig for $1250 for 2 shoot days, but they’re asking for hourly rate for prep days. Not sure what rate to give them & if I should base it on a 10 or 12 hr hourly rate. It’s LA based & content/digital production. I’m not a fan of hourly rates, but I don’t want to lose the gig or end up agreeing to less days than I actually end up working..
