When is the good time to tell the company that I am 3 months pregnant. My date of joining is 18th of July. I understand by law I need to finish 80days with the company before I avail maternity benefits which I can easily do in next 3 months.
I want to understand if women who go on maternity leave during probation are treated differently or if there will be discrimination once I let them know about my situation. Wipro Accenture Allstate Quantiphi analytics pvt ltd.

My husband likes to say in his very heavy eastern European accent “money today is better zan money tomorrow”.
Hope this helps
This brought much joy, thank you 😂
Take the job. You can always move again to a boutique to become partner, but the resume boost from biglaw will help you. In addition to it just plain being a better job comp wise.
Take it! You can always go back
From what I understand, your exit opportunities are better in Big Law, so if you leave you have that benefit as well.
I did this and happy I did. The training, resources and opportunities are immense. Have never regretted the choice even at the busiest of times. Do good work and commit and who knows what will happen re: partnership.
I think it depends on your practice area—if you’re in a field that is recession proof, take the big law opportunity. Otherwise, there’s a chance you might be the newest hire in a less profitable practice group as we enter a recession, depending on the firm this might leave you vulnerable to lay offs. (This is all assuming if you’re in the U.S. if you’re not based in the U.S., ignore me!)

Do you care about becoming a partner?
Do you mean equity partner? Being a non equity partner in big law is not difficult.
