Hello fishes, I joined Nagarro on 24th of August. But still no project is assigned yet. Basically I am on bench. Now I am about to get an offer from ServiceNow. I really wanna join ServiceNow as it's a big product based organisation and the competition is really high compared to Nagarro. ServiceNow is giving me a joining date of 1st October. As I am still on bench, will I get released by Nagarro soon ? Because no project is allocated to me.

Even though I agree with your assessment on brand, regional travel in my opinion is terrible. Local would be preferable.
From a career progression standpoint, whichever firm is better in your particular field will matter more than the overall brand name
PwC culture is a tire fire of Amazonian proportions. I wouldn’t come here again if I had to do it all over.
I second this. Had a choice between pwc and kpmg and chose pwc but regret it.
Travel is brutal. I would rather have the local/same coast model
I am not completely opposed to travel. By regional I meant within a specific coast only, 1.5 hour flights tops.
I am just not sure if going with KPMG vs PwC will in any way ding my career, if that makes sense. Again, going by “brand value “, market reputation etc here
I didn’t apply to PwC but KPMG has been outstanding. Nearly everyone I’ve met is nice, helps out if you need, and are fairly laid back(within reason). My personal travel is pretty minimal, the people I know who do travel like one, maybe two, weeks a month. I’m paid well, though from this app it seems that’s not ubiquitous. I haven’t been through a year end yet so I can’t really say anything there.
I don’t personally think of KPMG as a lesser brand than PwC unless it’s for the meme instas, but I also didn’t target consulting as a career. Didn’t follow it as much.
Frankly I’d take the local over just about anything. Especially if the pay/titles are close.
I think you answered your own question, decide if you want more travel or less. PwC will be a healthy amount of travel
you mean unhealthy right?
What pwc1 Said. Travel will be a major part of your life. Don’t take it lightly, but don’t look at it as a complete negative, travelers get free vacations for life (we are all points nerds) but it’s harder to maintain a social life on the road
It also depends on what city you’re in. PwC is smaller in my city so I went with KPMG.
Been at both firms. Ultimately, it depends on your teams and who sponsors/supports you vs the brand name itself. Based on your interviews and the vibe you experienced with the people, where do you think you will fit in the most? Do you feel like you’d enjoy or want to be mentored by some of the senior folks you met?
