Anyone know any companies or know of anyone that had no direct experience but was hired as a product manager? I have a background in marketing and some technical skills but I have no product experience. I want to pivot from marketing/operations to a product manager role.

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. What should I do in a scenario where I was hired (12+ years) with far less salary than(~20% less) than other members (4+ experience) in team and asked to take 80% of team's responsibilities.
