Have you asked your boss for some additional training on items you’re struggling with? Maybe having something explained in a different way or different training could help. I do think sometimes jobs just aren’t right right for people and that’s also ok.
Hi!
I would offer an opposite perspective: how are you a good fit for this?
You have been in the role for 1.5 years - think about all the achievements you made, results you created...think about feedback you have been receiving from your Colleagues, Customers... think about all different ways you developed and grew. Think about you as a professional at the beginning of this job and now - what difference is there?
You may want to reflect on what’s been working well & why? What hasnt been working that well & why? What can you do differently?
Also, what areas of your work you dont feel comfortable with and/or lack certain knowledge and skills? Try to be as specific as possible.
How can you change that? What support might you need? Who might be the right person you can reach out to for help?
What are those big & small mistakes? What did you learn from them? How can you ensure to implement those learnings as you move forward.
I know these are quite some questions but answering those will provide for some great additional insights & ideas.
Wish you all the best :)
