Hi, Is it good to join Salesforce for Technical Consultant role (YOE - 3.2 years) ?
I checked with few of my connections, they saying I will be mostly allocated to Salesforce industries (Vlocity) project. Please suggest about the team structure and work life balance for this role.
and also in future, is it possible to apply for IJP in Salesforce ?
Please provide your thoughts on this.

Hey fishes,
Let’s say Brillio gave some joining bonus and if we are leaving within an year we need to pay it back.
So does it mean I need to put papers after one year or is that okay to put papers after 9 months, so serving 3 months notice makes it one year.
Please let me know if anyone had an idea about this.

Yeah, I’ve thought about this a lot; probably more than most people, because I’ve watched friends go through the whole cycle of chasing bigger paychecks and then burning out hard.
For me, salary is important (bills don’t pay themselves, and I like having some financial breathing room), but it’s not the top priority anymore. There was a time in my late 20s when I would’ve taken a 20-30% pay bump even if it meant 60-70 hour weeks and constant stress. I did it once, actually that had a higher title, fatter paycheck, and I was miserable within a year. Couldn’t sleep, barely saw my partner or friends, and the money just sat in my account while I felt empty. Now I’d rather take a modest pay cut for a role that lets me log off at a reasonable hour, take real vacations without checking email every five minutes, and have energy left for the rest of my life.

Thank for sharing your experience. It’s all about finding the balance and off course money is important but not everything.
I have ABSOLUTELY considered that. I have had the jobs where I made tons of money and had no work life balance. And alternatively jobs with better WLB that didn't pay as much. I would much rather have work life balance than the highest pay.

Same here as I can always go for higher paycheck but I put my and my my family wellbeing at first.
To me money is all that matters. That’s the reason I work. I would rather sacrifice now and be okay later I life.

I had same philosophy when I was younger. However, my wellbeing is as important as my paycheck now.
