Have you ever felt frozen by work asks? I’m a very quiet person who loves to just do what I do and not have to talk to people often. I have an internal only role, so it has been good for me. However lately I’ve been asked to interview leadership on their needs so that my team can ensure we’re better meeting them. I keep pushing off scheduling these meetings, and I think I’d rather just find a new job than set them up.

There is this big bank where I'd love to work at, and after several interviews for various positions they end up promoting someone from within, even thou I understand it and think it’s good they promote their people, it left me feeling like I'm just being used to comply with the process.

I'm in finance/tech FPA, looking to go back to the defense industry for a 25% increase in TC. But wanted to see if I should leverage the new salary with current company to see if they'll match.

Background: got a promotion at current company that didn't come with sufficient increase . After stating my case I was told it would be evaluated next October, which is what prompted the initial job search.

Hello, I was recently let go from my firm for not being able to pass the series 10 exam. I passed the 9 and have my SIE, 7, and 63. Are there any jobs out there that require the 9 but not the 10? All the jobs I can find require them both but I’d like to use my 9. Thanks for any advice!
