Have you ever negotiated better PTO? I wish I could but unfortunately it's not negotiable at target and I am not up to get more time for another 11 years
I do get 5.5 weeks currently, so I'll live. How much PTO do you earn. Is it enough? Is any amount t really enough?

I get 80hrs of pto and no it’s not enough but if I get a salary promotion which I’m working on it’s 3 months PTO which is way better.

For young professional women out there - how many of you think you might not want to have kids in the future? Generally curious, yes I’m youngish, male (25) but I never envisioned having kids. I come from a more conservative area where everyone does have/want kids. So interested in seeing what a percentage breakdown would look like especially within consulting - thanks!

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)

I was promoted to manager in Jan but received an offer with a 35% salary increase and much cheaper health insurance outside the firm. I am 85% sure I’ll take the offer, but wanted to see if anyone could think of acting I may be missing out on by leaving? FYI my inflation increase was larger than my promotion increase and my student loan payments also were stopped since I’m no longer an SA. I think what is holding me back is my guilt for my immediate team but just want to check.

Hello all, my first post. Anyone else feel like their general manager won't promote them because they're afraid you'll make them look bad. Like they don't do their job well enough so you'll outshine them? Do you stay? Leave? Try to build the relationship? It's been a year. @Aimbridgehospitalityllc

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. And when we ask her about it, she gets mad.

I'm worried that if I speak up, she'll make my life even harder. I don't want to lose my job because of this—do you guys have any advice?
