Hello <3. Tips to negotiate a consulting entry level comp (first job ever)? I called the recruiter to reject the job for x reason. They asked me if I would reconsider my decision if x wasn't an issue, I said yes. Later, a partner called me and explained why I shouldn't worry bout x, they said they would be happy to have me and hinted to the possibility I have to ask for different things. FYI I have another offer with signing bonus and > base salary (but with bonuses both offers are similar).

Is it possible to jump from implementation manager to product manager, and if so, what should I do to prep for the jump? Is it easier between companies or within? And (maybe I’m pushing my luck.. lol) but what’s the difference in salary progression between the 2 paths?
