Hello all, I received a LinkedIn inmail from a Google recruiter recently for early career SWE role. I haven't even applied for the role. She scheduled a 20 mins call with me. Does anyone know what to expect on this initial call? Is it gonna be technical? Thanks.

I got selection mail from tcs on 22 Aug, they asked to upload documents next day. HR discussion is not done yet , how many days they take to do the hr discussion after uploading documents ?

anyone take a new job for the compensation and regret it? have an offer for a huge bump but not the exact role that i am interested in. would appreciate any insight into things you wish you considered, how it has effected your career etc.

First round cleared in november 2021, then HR called after 2 months for second round in Jan 22, now discusses the salary after 2-3 weeks and then again says to get back.
No communication courtesy, just randomly calls up. Any thoughts on What might be going on? Is this how gartner process works?

Now again I have another counter offer, should I ask them to revise my offer letter again?

For those who were diagnosed as an adult can you provide some insight into how you were able to obtain a diagnosis. I went to my primary care dr who referred me to another dr who specialized in mental health. He asked me about 5 questions before telling me I should see a neuropsychologist for an official assessment. The referral he gave me is super pricey and apparently isn’t covered by insurance. Is that normal?

So I was a 5th year associate in nyc making 100 k a year 2k billable hours.. I decided to leave for the role Im in now.. my old countered to keep me at 115k (which was like pulling teeth for them) but I left anyways now I find out that they offered a 7th year 150 k and a partner title should I be offended that they didn’t even try more with me

Thoughts on leaving PA primarily due to the metrics based culture (utilization, dtc, use of X digital tool, revenue, margin, etc). I find this aspect of PA stressful and exhausting but not sure if this is something you just get used to. Currently a manager and seems like the metrics just change over time / don’t get easier.
