We are looking to restructure our marketing team (B2B IT services) and one of the questions I have is: how does recruitment marketing / employer branding fit into the marketing team?
Nanny has been very careful but roommate missed her family, flew to Mexico and tested positive upon her return Saturday. Our nanny has no where else to stay so I am thinking we need to wait until 2 weeks after her roommate tests negative. Seem logical?

Hi! Does anyone have any recs for certificates/licenses or anything that helped them in their career? I’m not really looking to get my series 7 but if it really helps in terms of pay and getting an advantage for jobs I’d love to know. PMP, SIE, etc. anything along these lines?
Im still navigating where I fit in the finance world but I know I’m not really looking to be a financial adviser.
I submitted the documents 2 weeks back. HR discussed salary last week and told me that I will receive the salary breakup by last week only. Still have not received any update after that.
I have sent the email to HR yesterday asking for the status but no reply yet.
I am worried now.
What would be the best course of action to take to break into tech? I’m considering getting into tech sales or digital marketing for a tech company but I have no idea how to start. Plus I don’t have a degree just self taught education.
Same kid as below is now learning how to crawl. He hasn’t quite figured it out but propels himself head first by rocking back and forth on all fours, then pouncing. Unfortunately he always lands on his face! What do I do? Not let him do tummy time except on the bed? What about baby proofing? We have hardwood floors throughout. Would you just do a big play pen?

I made it to the final round of a recruitment process for a Content Marketing Manager position at a big multinational company in the food industry. I now found out they interviewed another candidate and are going to take the next few days to make their final decision. It's just down to thr 2 of us. What is something creative I can do to stand out at this stage? Would be happy to hear your personal stories too or just your general advice. Thanks!

WOULD YOU RATHER:
1. Move internally for a role - you don’t love the role but the manager/team are great and you’re obsessed with the company
2. Take a role at a different company - the role and team is exactly what you’re looking for but you don’t love the company
Does anyone know a company called Kea&Partners? I'm going through an interview process but i've never heard of it before and there's close to nothing about them online apart from their website.
Copywriter with serious imposter syndrome at new job! How do senior writers up their game? Was in-house 1.5 years and underpaid in NYC. With only previous freelance experience (and nonprofit and grant writing before that) figured I had to slog through it for years. Cut to now, 6 months into a new copywriting role at huge tech company. My salary almost quintupled overnight. I think I’m doing great, but that depends on the day and who I work with (no other writers by the way).
Does anyone have strong rationale for why it seem like big brands hardly ever include trademark or register symbols on their logo anymore? When I was coming up as a designer trademarking the logo was a very important step in branding.

I’m a recent grad & began my first career as a marketing coordinator. It’s been quite frustrating to say the least. The company doesn’t understand the purpose of marketing, & recently hopped into the digital world - many of which don’t find it valuable. On the other hand, my manager assigns me lots of copy projects to do & either doesn’t give me informational feedback or completely disregards my work. Before I was hired, she knew exactly how my writing style was like but doesn’t use it. Help! :(
Hi everyone! I’ve been working for 7 years in digital marketing mostly for wine and spirits/luxury industry in China. Recently moved to NYC. I’m just wondering what platforms people use to find jobs? In China we often reach out to head hunters or through networking, is it the same here? Thanks a lot!

This is such an awesome opportunity to infuse the brand into the organization. And if you think of the impact of employee retention and satisfaction on customer retention and satisfaction, you can trace the line between your support and your impact as an HR partner.
My first question to your scenario is Does your leadership recognize the value of EB/RM? If yes, what kind of resources are they willing to mobilize? This should answer whether there’s enough to staff a separate team or just allocate some effort within the existing team. For example, at my company, albeit a huge MNC, the value is clearly recognized and there is a specific, separate, well staffed department for all ‘corporate marketing’. If they don’t value it, and having a department responsible for an activity on which they aren’t incentivized to perform makes me think yours may lean this way, I’d perhaps consider the bandwidth and incentivized priorities of my team
Thank you! Those are excellent questions, and I think the first question is indeed: how much value will our company (be willing to) place on these departments. Then we can also discuss the goals / targets the team will contribute to and how to measure them.
