Question if I max out my 401k does that mean my employer won’t contribute since I’ve hit the 19k limit or will they still match.

Employer matches don't count against your cap

likehelpful

Ahh good to know.

like

Just FYI, employer contributions do count to your max for HSA.

like

Thanks. I’ll have to read up on it.

It depends on whether your employer matches by paycheck or annually. For D, we can max out early and they calculate matching once per year.

like

Gotcha. Thanks. Going to look into it.

Yep, planning on it. Just needed a quick answer since on vacay and was discussing it with some friends.

Hello! I’m an LMSW in Michigan with 15 years experience in the field doing case management, supervision, and administrative roles. All of my experience has happened in the CMH or VA health system, so needless to say, I am feeling burned out. Are we overthinking it?

I went through two rounds of interviews for
a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.
Thanks for any help!
