Hello all! I was wondering about the career path that exists for Boston Consulting Group’s Client Focused Knowledge Team. Is the Client Focus track the career path that eventually leads into the Expert Project Leader role?

KT and ECT are separate groups. Don’t know how easy it is to switch but would assume quite difficult.

like

Thank you that is helpful!

I’ve had a couple Cs who were former KT, but they came over at consultant level, not PL.

like

To answer your question: No. Expert consultant will become Expert PL, then Associate Director. Knowledge team will at some point become Lead Knowledge Analyst and might manage teams within the knowledge team. To switch to the (expert) consulting track you need to take interviews that depending on level are exactly the same as if you would apply as an outsider.

Hi all,
I graduated during Covid with a double major in business administration and business management with a minor in marketing and magically ended up in sales because I needed a job. I’m about to take a data analytics course to make an attempt to break into that field. I’m currently looking for a mentor to help guide me during this time. Also, if anyone is willing to look over my resume and give me tips on how to make it more presentable for recruiters in DA that would be very helpful. Thanks

What is a simple way to explain to my boyfriend that investing in equity with an expected return of 10% is better than paying off debt that is growing at a rate of 6%. He has student loans and is adamant that he wants to pay all of them off immediately before saving any retirement money. I understand that many individuals use this strategy but I think investing in index funds for the long haul is better from a wealth accumulation perspective, without even factoring in tax implications of 401k
