Hello! Are there any project managers based in London around? I’d really love your input on how to run a pitch. Is there anything basic I should know? I’ve never led one before and I’m feeling quite nervous. It’s a regional pitch and I’ll be working with the CEO and other senior people.

Also, English isn’t my first language, so sometimes I worry I’m not expressing myself as clearly as I’d like. Any advice would be hugely appreciated!

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. Hey everyone, I’m a recent grade (2yrs post undergrads. I have event managing, stage managing, and currently working as a daily operations manager for a small content creating agency. Additionally, I take on little projects to helps friends/family. I want to pivot into Project Management, but I’m not sure how to leverage the skills I have.
