I am from tech background, have completed my Bachelor of Engineering in CS in 2025. I have been interested in Data analyst job roles.

Tried to get a job in the desired role for 4 months but ended up at Morningstar as Data analyst (MDP associate). It's been a week now.

It seems like the work is not totally a data analyst role. It's more on the investments side. So how will I excel further in this area, what will i have to do to get better opportunities in other big companies

Could someone please suggest how to handle this situation?
My manager (Technology Director) sees me as an emerging thread to his position and stopped sharing details / trying to avoid including me in visible projects etc.,
FYI - His manager is the division head and Managing Director.
Why I think my manager tries to move me out?
- I am 18 YOE with a technically strong background
- Upper mgmt is starting to identify me as the backup for all systems. My manager tries to move me out since then

I have cleared 2 technical interviews with S&P Global for the Java Developer job position. With good feedback.
As the interview went well.

I have attended a managerial interview which was scheduled for 30 minutes. It also went well. I answered 90 to 95% of the questions.

How much time they will take to give the feedback as we have a long weekend now
