I am joining Oracle consulting practice as manager in couple of weeks. Just wondering what are the groups in practice. Do they have different groups for delivery and sales. Coming from big 4 so not very used to this kind of structure. Does anyone has any insights?

Any other former B4 or MBB partners glad they left consulting for FAANG leadership role? As one who is so glad I am doing something different after 20 years in the “grind” I am looking for others who have made the move!

I have what I'm sure will be a stupid question - what are the prep and review budgets like in big 4 tax? Especially on smaller to medium sized returns (unless those don't exist).

I'm asking because everytime I meet a former big 4 they're used to seeing "an intern/new associate/offshore prepares, senior reviews, manager reviews, then the person signing does a high level review" and I just can't fathom how many hours that takes.

I have seen quite a few managers (1st or 2nd year) moving into an industry role as a senior, not manager. Is this common? I thought it’s easy to get a manager title in industry coming out of big 4

Technology-Microsoft Dynamics 365(I am a functional consultant in SCM and HR; Relevant exp: 3 yrs & Total exp: 4 yrs).
My interviews in IBM are done and I am waiting for the salary discussion with HR.
What is the likely offer that I am going to get? Any idea? (My expectation is 16.5 lpa ctc). I will adjust my expectations as per replies here.

A recruiter reached out to me from Meta for a contingent worker role at Meta. It seems like an interesting enough role. The title is Program Manager IV. I have 14 years experience in tech roles and have never worked for any FAANG, but I really want to chance.

I'm trying to figure out what sort of hourly rate I can demand for this role. What sort of comp do regular salaried employees get for Program Manager IV roles (or equivalent)?

Here is my current cocktail: Caffeine 400mg (200 when I wake up then another 200 when I go to the gym 30 minutes later), Modafinil 150, Bupropian XL 150. I used to take adderall but it made me crazy for lack of a better word. Looking to add a stimulant for focus. Suggestions? Currently deciding between Ritalin and Vyvanse.
