I interviewed with UBS recently and the discussion went well. An SME also joined, was happy with my answers, and shared details about the project and HR timeline. However, it’s been a week and I haven’t received any update yet. Since this is my first job switch, I’m unsure if this delay is normal or a good sign.

Any insights would be appreciated.

Are funds willing to negotiate offices? I’m planning to interview with US funds for a 2023 start but may need to move to London for personal reasons - is this something funds are open to?

I had a behavioral interview with a manager from another team and a case study with the hiring manager. They both took notes as I gave my answers but the first manager was very disinterested from the get go and was distracted as he kept looking away from the screen.

I’m wondering how much influence the first manager has since I’m not sure what he’s writing
