Hi All - I’m at a firm that has some infrequent in-house training but not enough to help me develop skills to eventually become a trial lawyer. I know cases rarely make it to trial anymore, but I’d like to develop my skills as much as possible to position myself well when they do. Does anyone have any mock trial programs they’ve participated in outside of their firms that they would recommend?

I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. I’m extra worried because it doesn’t seem there’s IB analyst positions out there. Im really hoping come January more positions come up but I’m just praying they don’t fire me until then. Anyone have general tips for this situation?

Hello! I am a Sr. Product Designer at an enterprise SaaS company and am looking for some help!
I am having a difficult time meeting the expectations of the role because of my previous roles lack of management and more junior role responsibilities. Unsure about what to do.. worked as an analyst out of school for $60K 2017-2019. Left after 1yr due to a toxic work environment & to care for my grandpa who had cancer in 2019. Long story, but we’re fairly certain the individual is using Meth and appears to have started/restarted fairly recently. I work with physicians, so it’s a consensus. We have to terminate employment, but what ethical obligation do we have? Two young children at home and no spouse. This is weighing heavily on us.
