I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

Most spas are in dire need of staff always so put your head up and walk in with your resume. Offer them a massage free.
Focus on your strengths. Are you able to make clients feel calm, welcomed, trustworthy, and with a singular focus on the client? Discuss your knowledge about massage. Discuss the most common muscle areas you notice people from that location struggling with. What age groups are you familiar with massaging? Are you able to work well with others? Maintaining privacy since it will be in a spa setting is important as well. Lean into your strengths and the things you don’t know, don’t be afraid to ask. Definitely have a few questions specific to the business prepared ahead of time.
Thank you for the feedback. 🥹
God bless you!
Go to a chain spa - Massage ENVY or Hand and Stone. They are always looking for people and will need to do a massage as part of the process. Tips for that- be sure to communicate with your person in the table - asking about pressure etc. Answer their questions - be concise with them. Don't over talk during the massage. You'll do well! You know what you are doing! I managed a spa and these were things I heard from my lead therapists. Good luck!
Thank you!
Honestly OP I have found the best way to combat these feelings is to jump in feet first and do it. The more that you apply and practice interviewing the easier it is going to be. You are totally capable and you will do great! You have to believe in you first :).
believe in yourself and you got this and you're a professional so you this 🫡
Trust your training and the positive feedback you’ve received. Start with smaller spas to build confidence. Remember, every therapist starts somewhere—practice makes perfect. Focus on improving with each client, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. You’re more prepared than you think; confidence grows with experience. Good luck!
I love this, thank you for your supportive feedback! 🤗🥰
