Eyeing an open spot as a Senior Manager GPS Contracts DOD Sub-Sector Lead. What would be the anticipated compensation (base + bonus%?) for this role? Hi All. I have a good job offer but I'm wondering whether I should negotiate comp. I made it clear from the beginning what my target for base comp was which is ~$10K over the top of the posted salary range for the job. I also said that I was comfortable proceeding with the interview process despite the top of that range being lower (somewhat weakening my position for later I suppose). The offer is at the very top of the range. Bonus is 5% less than what I get in my current job. Negotiate?

How long did it take you to receive your first promotion? I have 3 years of work experience, currently at my 3rd agency, and third associate position. Four people on my brand team have been promoted (across levels and departments, but none in PM). I'm getting sick of being pumped up with empty praise if others are actually being rewarded with accolades.

Considering Leaving JP Morgan to join US bank is that a sounds move ? 9 years of software engineer experience - currently paid $135K plus bonus as Associate software engineer at JPMC- but I want a fully remote position that’s why considering making the move to US bank. Is it worth the move if they offer me the same salary? Or should I ask for more ?

I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Should I apply again in new year or don’t bother ?

Has anyone experienced difficulties with speech/thinking through taking anti-depressants or from suffering with long term depression? I first started noticing difficulties in articulating my thoughts at university and my career in consulting has only made this more prominent.
