1. Publicis Sapient : Sr. Associate L2 - Data Engineering, 34 LPA.
2. Sorice Solutions : Sr. Software Engineer - Big Data with AmEx Client, 30 LPA.

YOE: 6+
Tech Stack: Python, Spark, SQL, Airflow with AWS and GCP.

Both are in NCR i.e. home location with similar WFO arrangements.
Preference would be work cukture and work life balance with less late night work/calls.

Last week I got automated call from infosys and asked few details . After that I got call from hr and said my interview is scheduled on next week and very next day one person called me and asked few technical questions .she said she's calling from infosys and this is technical screening round . Today same hr called and said she will be scheduling a client interview.

My doubt is till now I didn't received any mail from infosys. So this is scam or part of infosys interview process?

Have new analyst on the team with an MBA and project experience. After working with them for 2 months it’s apparent that there are 0 consulting skills (excel, outlook, PowerPoint) and they freeze up even on internal calls. They are young and coachable, and I offered to put time into that. However at a company event they made no effort to get to know the team and chose to stick to their familiar colleagues in their home office. I’d like to ask for a new resource but interested in feedback.

Today I messed up doing a delivery. The client was expecting the supplies at 3pm in the warehouse, however, there was an accident on the highway and traffic was insane. It slipped my mind to let them know about the delay. Now, they believe it was me being irresponsible and are threatening to fire me for not reporting on time and possible losing them a client. What can I do to fix the situation?

Junior associate here (2L). Got some ‘constructive feedback’ from a 4L. We went over budget on a matter, and 4L thinks it has something to do with my inefficient delegation to 0Ls (and not the all the out of scope work the client asked us to do but doesn’t want to pay for...). Delegated tasks included basic grunt work like splitting out documents, preparing execution versions and other low-level tasks. 4L asked me to check with them before I delegate anything in the future. Thoughts?

My friends think I’m crazy because I’m willing to work all the time / give 110%, but they don’t understand that I need to do well so I can better provide for my family. I’m already making more in a week at 22 years old than my mom makes in a month, and she works way harder than I do. Just wanted to get this off my chest ha. Hi, i have been laid off by publicis sapient & my LWD was at 30dec, 2022. I got a job within 15 days and asked ps to prepone my LWD to 30nov, 2022. During the layoff meeting they said I will get salary till 30th dec, even of i leave early with bonus of 5% of my total compensation and leave encashment money also. With all this I am supposed to get approx 2 lakh. But I got 56k today. I am not sure if it is the F&f settlement or not. Can anyone help?

So far I received offers from PwC India, Capgemini and Lexmark for Data Engineering.

More are in pipeline from KPMG GS, TechM, Accenture.

But one peculiar thing is happening. I have appeared for 4 Cognizant interviews but in all I have been rejected. Whereas most of my friends had easily cleared Cognizant. I am switching tech, so I am a bit concerned like whether my knowledge is too shallow😐
