Cold applied for an awesome role, had an interview with hiring manager, recruiter, and given a pretty hefty assignment that I’m really proud of nailing. They followed up with an email asking for 4-5 days that I am available for a full day of interviews. Gave them 4-5 days, started planning for how I’d get those days off work during insane times at current job, and now not a single word from them to confirm a date. Been over a week now. Sad. I’m an SE who works 2 AE’s, and from looking at the market am on the bottom end of the pay scale. The company I work for has many different products/services (80+), so they wanted SEs to take on a local “SME” role in a specific area, to support other members of the team.

I have been working as a data scientist since 2018 & have been the bread winner. I have neither been under a proper mentor nor with a team of peers from my field to help me out.
