No and why would they?
Some companies will adjust salaries based on location. Usually on the way down. For example company A is opening offices in Texas and moving a division from San Francisco. They will then adjust salaries down for those required to relocate to Texas living cost as it’s a completely different base pay range for the Same roles. Again. There is no reason or incentive for them to do so if the employee is voluntarily moving to a hcol. In other words you don’t get paid extra cause you chose to move to LA or something. That’d be crazy
