Is 13LPA fixed at EY GDS Consulting justified for 5 yoe and designation as Senior Consultant 1?

I have more than 12 years of tax attorney experience at biglaw and big4. Are there any big4 positions that pay more than 200k? National Tax? Anything else?

Currently a senior commercial underwriter Working on finishing up my CPCU as I only have 2 exams left. Was curious to know
what kind of Salary impact this had for others who got the designation, if any?

My Last working date at Wipro is 12th of june 2022, So How tax will be calculated for the financial year 2022-2023. My CTC is 8.4L
I will be working only 3 months for this financial year and in April month payslip i can see 6K deducted for tax and in the IT projection it shows around 30k tax deduction gonna happen. I will be joining another Firm in same june month

Hello. Just curious on what's the salary ceiling for a manager position at Deloitte? Received a verbal offer and waiting on written offer. I was told by a recruiter that M at Deloitte doesn't make more than 180. Just curious if that's actually true and if anyone had experience negotiating higher salary than 180.

Currently SM at Bain (4 years post MBA) and was approached for a senior associate role in portfolio ops at a large PE fund. Been told 2.5 years to VP and another 2.5 years to director. Feels like the role is a bit junior but offers a 50% pay jump.

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? I got a call from EY HR a couple of days back stating that I have cleared all the rounds and enquired about the expectations.

Post which it has been two days...now I enquired about the update on the next steps. No response and even not answering the call.

Does this mean that even after going through a gruelling process of interviews they now see the salary bracket fitment and rejected my candidature?

There are so many people getting offers with more than 10-15 LPA in IT by providing fake experience & proxy interview support. Some don't even have a technical degree.

I totally feel worthless now after working 5 yrs in IT now. I worked very hard, got admission in top college, studied very well there & got an offer of 10 LPA during clg placements.

I know in India unemployment is at peak but getting employed in illegal way doesn't do justice for hardworking people? Any thoughts over this ?

I feel like getting an agri land, building a farmhouse on it and farming as a side hustle.

Rationale is that if we are moving to a model where working at home will happen often, living in the city will lose its main purpose. Cuz why live in the city when you don't need to be in it for 4-5 out of 7 days? You could stay at say Lonavla, and travel to Mumbai on the days you have work.
