The point is I am just a beginner in Java and has never done a development project.
I am in support role in current organization.

They are giving CTC of 8, and my total experience is 10 months.

Should I join?? How will I sustain!!!

Question about remote job negotiations

I'm currently interviewing for a remote role for a company based in NY.

The thing is I'm based in a different city (southern U.S.)

My question is:

When it comes time to talk compensation, should I base the market rate for the role on my city of residence or NY?

Would it make sense to ask them directly how they determine comp for NY-bases vs. other city-based employees?

Recently I have been looking for a job switch. I have recieved an offer from a startup company whose client is hpe. HR round was taken by a HPE manager too. They told they have 25-30 employees in hpe. They have other clients like Deloitte, PWC .
He told after 6-8 months of performance I can be in direct payroll with HPE.
So is it a good idea to join ?
Or shall I look for other jobs ? Please help ..

Got offer from deloitte and honeywell. Deloitte offering X+ 3.5 Lpa (2 lakhs as JB) for Mumbai location and honeywell X+ 8 Lpa for Pune location.
