Whoever of you got selected for a technical consulting job in US while staying in India and not having an US work visa , what is the process you followed ?

I have applied to several US jobs via LinkedIn where I met all the candidate skill requirements and I am currently working in a big 4 (Quote to cash area) having 3+ YOE. But still no luck.
On what basis the US firms select a profile for interviewing ? Please help !

Interviewed with Chicago court 2 weeks ago; they decide mid-August. Interviewed with DC judge last week; hear from him by this Friday. Chicago said if I need an answer before August, they'd try to make a decision about me sooner.
Should I ask Chicago for an answer? Or should I wait until there's an offer from DC judge? Maybe seems better to withdraw before an offer is made rather than ask for time to think about it/turn down DC? What's proper etiquette?

Have an offer for both, the B4 tax tech offer is higher. Interested in the more technical / software aspect of tax tech. Finance Business Partner is very similar to FP&A.

Any one make a move from fund admin after big 4 assurance and then was able to make a pivot to a PE fund accounting team? I am considering moving to a fund admin now. Currently in the process of interview for the role of a Technical Writer at Amazon (Seattle). Before the virtual onsite loop, I have been asked to provide an expected salary including base, bonus, and equity.

Facing an odd problem. When I had no offers in hand, and was expecting salaries in the range of 18 - 20 LPA, I was getting lots of interviews. Now that I have offers in hand north of 25 LPA, I am not being shortlisted for interviews. Should I hide the offers in hand, quote expected as before and negotiate post interviews in HR round?
