I wanted to seek your advice regarding an opportunity I’ve received. My employer has offered me an L1-B Blanket visa for the USA with a annual petitioned salary of $10,4000 , and the city of relocation is Atlanta, Georgia. My current CTC in India is 24 LPA (10 years IT exp).

Given this context, do you think it would be a wise decision to move to the U.S. with my spouse(Homemaker) and two kids(5 and 8 years old).

What will be in hand salary per month for fixed pay 20 LPA in EY GDS after tax deduction?

Has any firm in Canada reverted back from salary freezes during Covid? Aka gone back to pre-COVID salary bands. This question may be more for the strategy shops....I.e. I heard S& in the US is giving people raises in January to meet pre-COVID bands (but don’t know if this is happening in PwC). What are people seeing in Canada?

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. UK market is open only for niche skillsets ( Data engineer + analytics). Firms aren't interested in sponsoring rest all skill sets, as they can be filled internally. They have limited quota every year, and are very choosy when it comes to allocation. Preference is first given to EU nationals and then Asians during shortlist stage.
