I finished 1 way video interview at Jacobs in march 2026 for graduate programme, till now I haven’t received any rejection emails. 2 weeks back when i checked the application status it was under review. But now it says no job found in my application status. Can anyone tell what might be the issue?

I’ve always gotten the advice that when you want to switch jobs you should take interviews from places you’re not actually interested in, so you can understand your value in the market and have better negotiating power.

I’m doing that rn - took a couple interviews to gauge my skills, my market value, and see what I need to work on for interviews that I actually care about.

However, I feel really guilty about wasting their time and going all the way knowing I’ll just say no at the end. Wwyd?

Looking for new potential work. I’m not desperate. I have an interview on Friday, if they hire me and I take it, I’m leaving a toxic work environment, very poor management and nosy coworkers for another Union job but I feel better RBI’s new job will have better work relations, room for growth and better management. However, I’ll be leaving 7 years and great work perks. How do I have potential new job to pay me my rate of pay and possibly give me some of my previous work perks.

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. I’ve been working here for 2 years and my company is well established and the job is easy, but I honestly just want higher pay. I see companies (smaller and larger) that potentially can give me that but would it be worth it? I’m having a hard time finding out what opportunities/paths I can take and what amount of $ would be worth moving jobs for. Any insight is appreciated!
