A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.

I’m relocating to the US from an international rotation to work in Galveston. I have never been to Texas and I am trying to find the best spot for my family to live in. Not necessarily “wellness & beauty” but in need of recommendations. I always clean my apartment, but I can’t keep my kitchen/living room from smelling like trash. I am convinced that it is my kitchen trash disposal and I’ve tried so many things to make it smell good (garbage disposal deodorizer, vinegar mixture, etc.). A few years ago I slipped a disk in my lower back. Some doctors said I needed surgery to fuse it. That didn't sound good so I looked up alternatives. Through listening to binaural beats, using a tuning fork set to 528hz, and yoga I am now able to move and function just fine.
