I have been a phlebotomist for the last three and a half years with quest. I have over 20 years of experience. And have been trying to transfer to a different state. I believe that I am being blocked from my transfer even though my manager approves it on paper. Is there any way I can find this out. If I can't successfully transfer I may have to look for work outside of my current employer.

I applied for a job at a well-known healthcare company a couple of months ago. I had a number of remote interviews and then they asked me to fly out for a final round of in-person interviews. Later that week they told me that they were going to be making an offer. Another week has gone by and still no offer. They said they are still working on it. Is this the new norm for recruiting? I have masters and 6 years of experience. I recently learned that a new grad who doesnt have his state boards yet has 39 per hour. A coworker experience of 20 years gets 50per hour. I was recently (in April) fired from a good nursing position that I was at for 5 years. I reached out to my old ADON to get some information on where we had our vaccinations from and she told me that I should come back and the administrator that I had issues with is gone.
