Hello, I’m a female tech consultant (29F) with a 15 handicap and would like to get back into competing in New York, where is a good place to start looking ? I competed when I was in school in Canada so I didn’t have to look for tournaments on my own but the process in the US seems very confusing. Any guidance would be appreciated !

Playing my first round of the year tomorrow. For those living in places with snow, golf season is finally here!

Curious to get some input: looking into a golf getaway for my birthday in late February and really honing in on either Kiawah or Pinehurst.

Been to Kiawah before around that time of year and loved it-- the Ocean Course was my favorite golf experience, but I also feel the urge to try something else. Thoughts? TIA!

Woman here, question to men golfers:
I often get teamed up with male golfers as not many ladies play in my area. I feel like they feel awkward (cause they get silent around me, only saying good shot when I make a good shot) and so I start feeling awkward too, and it negatively impacts my game. Is it just in my head?

I went birdie/par on holes 1 & 2 today. Instantly became delusional that I’m going to shoot under par for the round. Followed it up with two doubles and shot a 98. Humbling game. 😂
