I aim to strike a balance with pricing within my services, which include resume creation, LinkedIn branding, mentorship, career coaching, and interview preparation. I'm focused on being both marketable and profitable. I bring 15 years of experience in the corporate sector, with a specialization in talent development and recruiting.

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. Anyone else frustrated with the lack of follow through from potential employers? I have had two companies undercut my ability to have an equal chance to compete for a role. One company kept telling me a second interview would happen in a few weeks. Nothing for 3 months even with my check ins. To just find out the role was filled. Another company flat out said they couldn’t find my application (in their system where it was attached to job req number) and filled the role.
