Be up front about it. I've interviewed people and they have brought up prearranged trips that are soon after the starting date. It's not a big deal. But the longer you wait, the worse of a look it is.
The thing is that I don't want to give a bad impression and loose all the incredible perspective that I 've already made with them but also I need to go with my family member this travel in the 4 week of being hired. ( I still don't begin) What will be the best approach to make this request?
It doesn’t look bad unless you wait so long it becomes a problem. Be upfront as soon as you are offered the position and accept. Sometimes it takes 2 to 4 weeks for them to get you set up in the system, ready to onboard and assigned a start date, so they may just have you start after your trip. I would just inform them and tell them you can either start before or after that week for the medical treatment. and assigned a start date,
Be honest with them. A lot of people have pre-planned vacations or reasons. They need to be away from the office before they get hired.
And let them know that you can help remotely if possible. That's if you can do so. Do as much as you can before you leave and volunteer to do some extra ketchup work when you get back.
