I joined as a fresher and have been working at Cognizant for the past 4.5 yrs in Prod Support. Every year I have received rating 3 or 4 equiv. Last year I've worked my ass off and helped my project with some critical issues. Received a rating of 3 (expected 5). My manager's comments in YEA are also great with no areas of improvements. But the ratings dont reflect that. Needless to say I am properly disheartened by this and am considering resigning but have no offers.
Suggestions?

Serious billing question - if during the course of the day, you first receive an email from Client A at say 11:10am and you read it, you then respond to it at 12:20pm. You get another email at 2pm from Client A and respond immediately. The next email comes in at 4pm, you read it and respond only at 4:30pm. None of the email responses take more than 3-5mins. You are working on matters for other clients at all other times during the day. How much are you billing for Client A?

Is joining amdocs as java developer is bad ? they said i will be working on legacy systems to make them transform into new tech ? is it true And can we say no to project when joined or change project in amdocs?

Looking for opportunities to work in my field eventually. I’m almost certified in project management through Google. Since I was previously trained in project management, I’m doing sometimes a week or 2 weeks worth of google coursework in one evening. I have used project management tools to improve processes and business outcomes ($$) in my jobs. And I have worked to teach others these principles to improve efficiency.

Every time I start a new project, I just look forward to the roll off date. It’s just so sad how I never find any of my projects exciting or fulfilling. I’ve been looking for a new job outside of consulting for years but haven’t landed anything. I just feel mediocre at best not knowing how to even do my own job since the requirement changes all the time.

In weekend checked out VTP Peagusus project in Kharadi possession 2025. Project looks promising but when visited the site accept for the towers rest all be it roads or daily basis shops nothing is there yet but they say that till the time of possession roads and everything will be functional. The rate for 750 sqft carpet 2bhk they are giving for 74lacs and possession is 2023 May. Another 2025 possession 850 sqft carpet 2bhk for 79lacs.Hardly any difference in rate per sqft. Please suggest
