Unicorn simply because it will open doors to you to other tech companies in the future where youâll be able to make even more money. Big 4 are a dime a dozen, I would think long term and build out background/story of scaling startups, much more valuable
Not a challenging question at SC for D. If it was M, maybe itâd be more of a debate but at SC the unicorn is a slam dunk.
Is the equity 80k per year or a one-off grant with a vesting schedule? Is it liquid or expected to be?
The difference in cash comp is big so depending on how the equity component is structured D might come out ahead. If it's 80k a year and you feel good about the stock I'd agree with the đŠ consensus
No offense, but I have a hard time believing a true unicorn would give a Director of Corp Dev position to someone of your seniority... Based on salary, it looks like the company may not be an actual unicorn, and/or there is massive title inflation.
Sort of agree but itâs also not like it used to be. 1 billion valuation isnât exactly rare for tech companies anymore.
