Here’s something I never thought about. What’s with Netflix cracking down on password sharing and raising their prices constantly?

Yep!! I hope this new merger gets blocked. It's an obvious monopoly and idk how they can just get away with that

I’m guessing them screwing over customers like us is why they have so much money to buy warner brothers. Seems like a good enough explanation as any right?

In short: the counter‑argument is that Netflix isn’t charging because it’s “greedy despite being rich,” but because password sharing undermines fairness, sustainability, and the ability to keep producing the shows people want.

Revenue vs. Profit Reality
Just because Netflix earns billions in revenue doesn’t mean it has unlimited profit. Running a global streaming service involves enormous costs: licensing content, producing originals, maintaining servers, paying staff, and marketing. Charging for password sharing helps offset those costs and sustain the business model.

I don’t think it’s wrong, they are a business after all and if their product is not being used as they want it to be they have a right to change stuff

Should I be happy with just receiving my 3rd promotion in less than 2.5 years to Senior Consultant? Company growing fast, tenured employees getting burnt out/leaving and room opened up to move up quickly. Change in leadership recently as well. Was offered 17.5% increase and this is my first job out of school. I don’t want to grow too fast, but this seems too good to be true…

Check me here: other side attorney has already reached out to me directly via email saying that an LOI is coming… Then, she sends the LOI addressed to my client, and CC:s me only. Seeking ideas for boosting morale in an office. What activities or rituals do you implement that are appreciated by your staff? We do lunch almost once a month and even that feels forced. Some staff don’t interact with others because they are just introverted (not for any other reason). The team seems to open up when we play ice breaker questions but I’m losing my creativity with interesting questions. Looking for more ideas.

If there is a case that we have to quarantine again. Do you all think it is possible for store associates to work remotely? If so, what are some ways this could work? I fear another pandemic or outbreak and so many people being out of work again. I can't even fathom those that had jobs in retail that had little to no choice to not be remote.
