Currently working in PwC in SAP S4 HANA MM role.

Total exp - 5.3 years
Cureent fixed - 11.5 lacs per annum

Deloitte USI HR called pre interview and said the max they can offer is 17 fixed.
Because 18+ is SCON range for salary.

Is it true ? Is there no room for negotiation?

I think 17 fixed is a bit less for 5.3 years ..

I received a call for interview from Deloitte. However I don't have all the skills/exposure mentioned in JD. Has anyone cleared an interview with similar scenario in big 4?

I have requested my HR for a revised joining date by 1 week at PwC as my last working day at my current company and PwC was colliding.
The HR assured me of an addendum letter but so far after 2 weeks I haven't received anything as such.
