Hey everyone,

Got an offer from Microsoft as a L62 Product Marketing Manager in the Azure org with 2 YOE. My offer is 126k base, 50k/4 rsu, and a 15k signing bonus. I feel like the comp is very fair for my YOE but very low for L62. With that being said, L62 would be a 2 level jump for me and amazing for my YOE. Any advice on negotiating the offer?

This is twice now in back to back weeks my boss has asked me where the disconnect was in our communications because I didn’t deliver on what “was asked”, even though I know damn well what was asked and what was done were the same thing. Feeling really low about exits from big 4 mc. Feel like I’m not going to get anywhere good in a field that I’m interested in. Anyone who made it out successfully have any advice?

See a lot of people slamming their “big firm” experience and wanting to move on from it. I’ve got 2YOE but not at a big firm and can’t help feeing I’m missing out on something (name brand, skills, network etc). Is it better not to chase it and go somewhere else (tech / startups etc) rather than trying to get in at entry level ?
